Its not a terribly well known fact that the Eastin Hotel, PJ (Seksyen 16) has one of the best run and best looking cigar divans in town, The Cigar Divan. Run by those hardworking chaps in Casa del Vino, i came across this divan a couple of months ago and have found myself enjoying all the visits i’ve made there since.
The range of drinks available is impressive – a well stocked bar dominates the center of the divan. Prices can be a bit steep, though not much different from what you’ll find in other such premium F&B outlets.

The ambience is excellent: quiet music filters in the background, the place is not too brightly lit, and the air circulation is good enough to ensure cigar smoke doesn’t clog the place up (and it doesn’t disperse too quickly — i like to have the smoke hang around for a few seconds to allow its aroma to linger).

The walk in humidor is problably not the best stocked one you’ll find in town, but the selection is decent. All the major brands in the popular vitolas (sizes) are available: Montecristo, Partagas, Romeo y Juliet, Cohiba. The selection won’t blow your mind, but you’ll probably find something here to satisfy your palate witohut too much trouble.

Verdict: A really nice place to hang out and enjoy a lovely smoke. Nothing spectacular about this place, but it has everything you could ask for from a divan.
